Blog Analysis

Group 2 has good elements ranging from easy to read text and the number of topics they cover in their blog.
Senior Writing 101 had good discussion and even some funny posts (the Cool Hand Luke Challenge). Their posts were very lengthy, but not tiring to read. The Nelly Nells seems to have switched blogs, but they still manage to create unique posts that are outside the class discussion. Ssdch also have topics outside of the classroom, including some personal experiences. They also had a lot of posts to read about which I enjoyed. One of my favorite blogging moments was the video about photoshop in the Senior Writing 101 blog where the woman was transformed in under a minute.

Group Blog Post Analysis

After looking at other peoples group blog I thought group 2 had some good and in depth blogs. They also used videos from YouTube like the effects on body image for a Barby doll. I also liked the group senior writing 101's blog. It was colorful, clear to understand, and the posts were very long and thorough. I said that because i saw a post from Daniel O and one of his posts were 5 paragraphs long. It was also interesting that that group found a video on YouTube that had some guy trying to to the 50 egg challenge from the movie Cool Hand Luke.

Response Blog

I read many blogs from other groups, but one of them stood out to me the most. This blog was posted by "Senior Writing 101's" group. The blog was titled, "Field Day." This blog was more than just like a blog post; it was a well written paper. This post was basically saying that seniors overreacted too much about not winning the bucket and how we deserved to lose since we didn't try as hard, since the seniors thought the scoring was rigged. The writer also talked about why seniors would key the junior’s cars just because the seniors lost the bucket. In the end he also said it's just a bucket and we shouldn't be mad about it. The author did a great job explaining on how we overreacted about this situation. In my opinion for the seniors, it's more than just a bucket to us. It's like something that holds pride to being a senior. Knowing that you're at the top and you graduate before anyone else there. Seniors are upperclassmen and it's not just about winning an old rusty bucket. It's showing that we are the top class. But the seniors didn't try as hard and we lost the first two events. It was impossible to come back from that. When the seniors lost the bucket, we all left the gym dead silent. But for the juniors, they have their senior year to win the bucket. Last time the juniors won the bucket, the school went into chaos. The seniors keyed all the juniors’ cars and slashed all of the tires. Also they locked them in the gym and everyone out of the school. We had police officers there when we lost the bucket this year. But in the end, the bucket is an important piece of senior field day history.

Mistreating Mental Illness

As we read Cuckoo's Nest, we can see that mental hospitals had very poor standards and practices. The article we read in class also highlights times in our history where "brilliant" doctors and physicians did experiments on the mentally ill. From eating roasted mice to surgical removal of their organs, they tried many methods that the public at the time viewed as innovative. In America today, we have made great advances in treating these people. The only problem now is that people don't jump at the chance of treatment because they are worried what others will think of them. What do you think of the past mistreatment of mental illness? Do you think other developing countries still have this problem?
When it comes to the characters from one that flew over the cuckoo`s nest and cool hand Luke is that Luke out f cool hand Luke they are able to bring the group of people together and care about each other and really unite all of the other characters in the movie and the same with McMurphy they are able to get all the characters to care about each other plus both of them refuse to follow the so called rules and refuse to follow plus they unmind  the boss but sometimes they end up as the example to the group when it comes to trying to control the group but they don`t stop trying and still define authority and do what they want

Super Size Me

In the movie Super Size Me one man tries to eat only Mc. Donalds for 30 days. There are some health precautions with eating Mc. Donald's food for 30 days and they claimed that it can be a problem to your health and heart. I don't deny that, but what I don't like is the people that is sewing Mc. Donalds for them being too fat. Well I think it is not Mc D's fault that the people got so fat and unhealthy, instead it is the persons/ peoples fault for eating it. They can choose to not eat Mc Donalds food, and yet people still do, even if they know it is bad for you. So I think it is up to you on what you eat and you shouldn't blame Mc Donalds for your bad food choices.
