Body image

I have to ask one question what is with people blaming teleology, toys or even others for how we feel about ourselves or even our actions. I just don`t understand now not saying that they don`t play a role but saying that they are the clause of ting like barbie saying that it makes girl feel self conscious about ourselves and making us as people feel different but can that be because the culture if not just human nature. Just saying for the record just to let you know one thing that i remember since i was little and it sounds awful but just being able to point out differences in people. You can`t also say that Barbie cause young girls to be self conscious and not blame themselves and also blame the girl at one point plus just the type of culture we live in. So i have question on just how people think and what people think is the answers for the problems that we have in the world and what cause them and can you really blame toys and video games and others things for what people do and how people feel about themselves and others I pose that question to you?

  2. I somewhat agree, how could a toy or game influence you so much, that you have to actually change yourself. You shouldn't blame the toy or video games for what people do, you should blame that person and the environment that that person grew up in. Its like if one person had a gun and shot another person you shouldn't blame the gun and get rid of all guns, but instead blame the person for killing the other person. the gun has nothing to do with it if that one person really wanted to kill the other he would do it with or without a gun.

  3. I agree with what you are saying, how do toys or technology affect your perspective on how you should look? I've noticed that when women see other women in magazines or on television, women begin to become insecure. They get mad that they don't look as good as those models on television or magazines. In my opinion, I feel that is an awful thing when you compare yourself to models and other people. They don't eat that much and have surgery done on their body to look that way. Is that really what women want to be? Fake? I think that you can be fine just the way you are. If you don't like the way you look, you can do exercises to change it. But that’s if you want to. You shouldn't get mad over yourself for not looking like a model or a Barbie doll. Also technology enhances those images too. That's another thing that people forget about.
