Future Job Skills

America's future workforce will have some significant difference to our current workers. We seem to be getting more involved with technology, and it will evolve very quickly. In this article, they say some specific skills that will be in demand are web design, user experience, and being able to create content for several types of mobile devices.

  1. I believe that technology has been taking over our lives. People rely way too much on technology. At some jobs they have robots or machines do most of their work. This takes jobs away from other people who need jobs. This also makes people a little more lazy. Back then mainly everything was done by hand and hard workers. Today, we have machines do a lot of work. But people are still working. We still have some places that have people make their products.

  2. I agree with you when you say machines make people lazy. Mcdonalds has been trying to create touch screen cashiers for years. Machines can replace physical work but its kind of hard to replace creativity. Its hard to imagine a world where computers could design our clothes and create trends and fads. I think those jobs that require creativity will be "safe" in the future.
