World Tensions
The first time I heard about ISIS was when my friend mentioned the beheading of journalists. ISIS has started making threats against our country. They are only a small Islamic militant group and are not a direct threat to our homeland yet, according to this article. However ISIS can broadcast their ideals to the US and cause events like the Boston Marathon bombings. Our president has already taken action against this group, but many critics say he is underestimating what ISIS is capable of. What do you think our response to these threats should be? Any other important events you have in mind?

Well i think a response to this treat is a strike to show them that we are not playing and basiclly showing them if you keep messing with us and making treats agianst us we will end you so that is what is i thinking
ReplyDeleteThat's what I was thinking too. Our nation should take threats very seriously and never be off guard. If we are prepared, we can even prevent ISIS from attacking on US soil, hopefully peacefully rather than violently.
DeleteI agree with what you are saying Jordan. A strike would get the attention of a lot of people. Especially a big crisis like the ISIS. These threats should be accounted for very seriously. With 9/11, Osama Bin Laden already kind of said his plan but nobody believed him. Look what happened, we lost thousands of innocent lies because we didn't take a threat seriously. This is something our president, government, and everybody should be on top of. We should not have people dying because our president or government won't take these threats seriously.
